Lipstick & Chill: Play! by Sephora, October 2016

Hi guys! I’m back again, trying to be a responsible blogger and to actually update my blog on a regular basis! I promise one day I’ll be good at being consistent, but don’t hold your breath.

Today’s post is all about lipstick and chill, which sounds better than Netflix and chill if you ask me… of course, it’s just the theme for this month’s Play! by Sephora.

If you don’t know, Play! by Sephora is a monthly subscription that costs ten dollars and gets you five deluxe samples of makeup, hair and skincare, and they always include a little fragrance sample too!

So let’s start, shall we? First, we have this decently sized Christophe Robin regenerating mask, which I’m super excited to try! Then a small sample of the Skin Inc Pure Revival Peel, which looks like may only last one or two uses, but I’ll still give it a try.

And then… UGH… If you’ve followed me long enough, you know I hate getting mascaras in boxes because I never use them and I’m swimming in mascara, and on top of that, this is a mascara I got in BoxyCharm and didn’t even like, so I’m annoyed.

Moving on…

We got a cute little Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick in Driver’s Seat, which is a color totally up my alley… which is why I have two other colors like this (at least). I’m still going to try it just to test the formula, but I might end up passing it on to my sister.

The perfume sample we got this month was YSL Mon Paris (at least I think that was the name) which I wasn’t crazy about, and last but not least, we got the Belif True Cream Aqua Bomb, which I don’t think I’ll try so it’s going to my pass on pile!

That’s it for today guys, look at me posting two weeks in a row! Go me!

  1. That Blinc mascara is el sucko. I see it raved about all the time and I do not understand why. I feel mascara samples and perfume samples are lame ass lame in beauty boxes.
