A collection of empties

Helloooooo my beautiful lovely wonderful friends!! How is everyone doing on this fine Friday? I’m doing fantastic, because it’s September 18th, which is the Chilean fiestas patrias!! (AKA when we celebrate our independence from the Spanish, but not our actual independence day… that happenedFebruary 12th of 1818.) Look at me displaying my Chile pride yesterday at school!

Anyway, before we start on a Chilean history lesson, let’s get on with the actual point of this post. I’ve been collecting empties for months and months now, because I don’t seem to use up enough products in one month to merit a monthly empties post, thus this post now. Let’s get started, shall we?

As you can probably see, I go through a lot of samples of lotions and face creams. I’m a sucker for those that have SPF in them especially, and those are usually the first to be empty after I get them in one of my many beauty boxes.

Bare Republic SPF 30 Face Sunscreen: I absolutely loved this one and tried to use as little as possible to make it last as long as I could. It light and doesn’t make my face feel greasy after applying it, absorbs really quickly and smells really good. I will absolutely repurchase this when I need a new sunscreen.

Pur-lisse Hydra-balance Moisturizer: It smells great, is very lightweight and was amazing in every way except that if it doesn’t have SPF, I won’t wear it during the day. That being said, it made for a great nightly moisturizer! I wouldn’t repurchase it, but I wouldn’t mind if one happened to make its way to me.

Lather Ultra Light Face Lotion: Another moisturizer that was good but with no SPF in it, I could only use it at night. I wouldn’t repurchase it.

Supergoop! City Suncreem Serum with SPF 30: I liked this one a lot, but not nearly as much as the Bare Republic one. I wouldn’t repurchase it but I wouldn’t mind getting another one in my beauty boxes either.

Coola Classic Sunscreen with SPF 30: I was a big fan of this one as well, but it still doesn’t top the Bare Republic one! I wouldn’t repurchase it, but I wouldn’t mind another one.

BWC Facial Cleanser: This one took me a long time to get through because I kept forgetting it was there. I wouldn’t repurchase it, it was good but it didn’t make a lasting impression on me.

Burt’s Bees Rejuvenating Lip Balm with Açaí Berry: This one is in here because I’m so proud of myself for finishing it and not losing it! I love eos but Burt’s Bees is my go to chapstick for keeping in my pocket at work. I will definitely repurchase this at one point.

Nuxe Face Cleansing and Make Up Removing Gel: This one got the job done, but it wasn’t particularly impressive and the smell was kind of weird. I wouldn’t repurchase this.

Lavanila Laboratories Pure Vanilla Body Butter: This was the most glorious smelling lotion I have ever used in my life and I’m still sad I ran out. If I didn’t have a million more lotions in my stash, I would totally repurchase it!

Nourish Organic Face Cleanser: I absolutely hated this cleanser when I first tried it, purely because the smell was just unbearable. But because I’m nothing if not stubborn, I was set to finish using it, and once I did, I found that I not only didn’t mind the smell so much, I loved the cleanser itself! If the opportunity arises, I will definitely repurchase this.

I know this isn’t impressive compared to other people’s empties, but I’m proud of myself for this one. I’m gonna give myself a pat on the back. Let me know what you thought in the comments!
