Life update as told through instagram

I felt bad because I’ve neglected my blog (and will probably continue to do so for another week or so, since I still don’t have my living situation figured out) so I thought, why not do a little update with the instagram posts from the last week or two? That way I can publish something quick and easy so as to not leave my blog completely abandoned but it’s not too time consuming that I can just quickly write it up.

From Jacksonville to St. Augustine to Orlando, from two concerts to GeekyCon, to work and (finally!) my controls training, the last two weeks have been busy. I’m happy to have gotten to experience all of this, and I’m proud of myself for taking this step forward in my development as a Universal team member and to be trained in the control booth.

Now I’m preparing to move, for the start of my last semester of college, and my first ever trip to Canada. Let’s do it.

Quick update: moving, life, and more

Hi guys! I hate to do this but I’m going to go ahead and assume I won’t have time to blog for at least the next two weeks. I was supposed to be moving into my new apartment today but we’ve had some complications and now we’re either trying to figure out the soonest we could move into the apartment, or find a new one that might be available sooner.

On top of that, I have a lot going on at work that I need to focus on so instead of giving you guys half-assed posts, I’m going to wait until I’m a bit more settled in a new apartment (wherever and whenever that may be) so I can give you the good posts you guys deserve!

So just bear with me as I deal with all of this and I’ll be back in just a few weeks!

Mid Year Resolutions

By Valentina Boré

Before you say anything: I know it’s way past the middle of the year, but life just keeps happening and it doesn’t stop. When I was thinking about writing this post, it was May, but suddenly it’s almost August and I’m just now getting around to it. Oops?

I told myself back in May that I would set midyear resolutions for myself. Everyone has New Year’s resolutions that they keep up with during January, half-ass during February, and forget about by the time March rolls around. I usually don’t even get to making these resolutions, because I’m horrendously bad about following through with things, but after everything that happened in May/June/July, I’m done with waiting around for things to happen to me.

I want to make a change for myself. To start, I’m going to set resolutions that aren’t completely unattainable and that I could actually follow…
