If you know me, this probably comes as no surprise: I love Demi Lovato. I’ve been a fan of hers since she was on As the Bell Rings, but in high school, I got made fun of for liking her; nowadays, it’s a lot more common and less embarrassing to speak up about being a fan of hers.
When I first became Demi’s fan, what drew me to her was how unafraid and unapologetic she was about being herself. I loved her talent and her music, of course, but what I loved the most was her obnoxiously loud laugh, her goofy personality, and her refusal to act any differently just because she was part of the Hollywood crowd.
