Things I Wish I’d Known Before College

My little sister graduated high school this week. I know high school is just one milestone of the many we encounter, and college is far greater than high school was, but thinking back on how I felt when I graduated high school five years ago, I thought of a few things I would’ve liked to know before I started college. I was in the midst of a long rant about all the things I wish I’d known when my sister pointed out I might as well just blog about it.

Don’t buy your books at the textbook. My first semester at UCF, the books I needed for my four classes were about $500. But instead of falling for that, I used to search for cheaper versions and ended up spending around $100 for five books and that was definitely much preferable to the bookstore price!…
