The first time I ever questioned my sexuality, it was in 2009. I like to jokingly refer to it as my “bisexuality crisis,” because for some reason, Demi Lovato made me feel things I’d never really felt before, and I called my best friend freaking out about whether or not I was bi. But that label never seemed to fit quite right, so I just left it at that and tried not to worry about it too much yet.
It wasn’t until 2010 that I acknowledged not being straight, and it wasn’t until 2011 that I actually started identifying as pansexual and coming out to people. In 2012, I had my first girlfriend and realized I didn’t like boys, so I went from pansexual to gay and well, here I am now.
